About This Role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Operations Specialists in Payments.
In This Role, You Will:
- Partner with group managers to design and implement strategic data to meet group or company goals
- Perform complex statistical analysis and applies analysis to initiatives that support business strategies
- Process broad based technical and business knowledge to anticipate emerging issues
- Recommend subsequent strategies and business directions
- Manage or participate on large cross group projects
- Make decisions on matters with some financial impact and risk
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Lead the EFIA Centre of Excellence team and initiatives.
- Provide deep analytical insights into cash and securities markets.
- Oversee global EFIA and securities service provider relationships.
- Conduct market intelligence, strategic stakeholder engagement, and provider due diligence.
- Act as a global escalation point for clearing and settlement issues.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
- Develop cost and volume analysis capabilities for EFIA.
- Enhance legal and monitoring frameworks (SLAs, contracts).
- Support RFP/RFI processes for provider selection and performance review.
- Collaborate on global and regional policy updates and project management.
Drive Nostro account rationalization and cost control initiatives
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the banking domain.
- Experience in Global Custodian, Broker-Dealer, or Network Management, with exposure to Payments, Cash Management, and Securities.
- Proven ability to drive cost efficiencies and process improvements.
- Strong knowledge of SWIFT, securities products, and clearing & settlement practices.
- Experience in service provider due diligence and performance monitoring.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of regional regulatory frameworks; background in compliance or risk is a plus.
- Demonstrated project management skills, especially in delivering major product enhancements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process re-engineering capabilities.
- A self-motivated, energetic professional who takes ownership and drives initiatives forward.
