We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a Business Development Intern to join our growth and strategy team. This role is ideal for someone interested in the business side of healthcare and gaining hands-on experience in physician recruitment, M&A, and strategic growth planning. You will work directly with Business Development team on research, analytics, and outreach efforts that drive organizational growth. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Source physician candidates using job boards and other tools; conduct cold outreach to set up calls and meetings. 
• Learn and support physician pitch and value proposition conversations. 
• Map markets to identify specialty needs and existing physicians. 
• Track outreach activity and maintain candidate pipeline reports. 
• Research potential practice acquisition targets. 
• Assist with data gathering, financial review, and preparation of supporting materials. 
• Help with outreach to practices and organizing meetings. 
• Support special projects tied to expansion and market development. 
• Gather market intelligence and competitor data. 
• Assist with internal reporting and presentations for leadership. 
• Some local travel within Greater Houston may be required for physician meetings or site visits. Mileage and related expenses are reimbursed. 

Requirements

• Pursuing / obtained a degree in business, healthcare administration, finance, or related field. 
• Strong interest in healthcare business development and growth strategy. 
• Comfortable with outreach and professional communication (phone and email).
