Job Summary
We are seeking for someone with strong knowledge (products, regulations, systems, and processes) on listing & trading, clearing & settlement of financial products, securities corporate action processing, settlement, and custodial services and AML/KYC practices. Analytical thinker with creative mind-set and partners well with stakeholders. Supports team manager to meet the operational objectives of the function.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage requests on portfolio management and estate planning by investors and regulators.
- Manage processing resources and allocations to meet service delivery timeline.
- Lead issue resolution, driving process improvements, and influencing change across multiple teams and external partners.
- Proactively review and conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- Develop and implement strategies for process improvement, considering both operational and technological solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design new processes, ensure successful implementation and evaluate the effectiveness of process improvement initiatives.
- Take the lead and drive the completion of projects and initiatives to support development of securities products and platforms.
- Deepen the relationship with Members, and other external stakeholders.
- Support manager to build an effective and cohesive team contributing to SGX’s success.
Job Requirements
- Degree holder with minimum 4-6 years working experience in Securities related field
- Strong understanding of Equities & FICC products & processes
- Experience in process improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of accurate execution and an eye for details.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, assess complex situations and develop practical solutions
- Analytical mindset with strong problem solving abilities
- Strong inter-personal and effective relationship management skills.
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Knowledge in RPA / VBA / Python language
