Job Summary

We are seeking for someone with strong knowledge (products, regulations, systems, and processes) on listing & trading, clearing & settlement of financial products, securities corporate action processing, settlement, and custodial services and AML/KYC practices. Analytical thinker with creative mind-set and partners well with stakeholders. Supports team manager to meet the operational objectives of the function. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage requests on portfolio management and estate planning by investors and regulators.
  • Manage processing resources and allocations to meet service delivery timeline.
  • Lead issue resolution, driving process improvements, and influencing change across multiple teams and external partners.
  • Proactively review and conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
  • Develop and implement strategies for process improvement, considering both operational and technological solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design new processes, ensure successful implementation and evaluate the effectiveness of process improvement initiatives.
  • Take the lead and drive the completion of projects and initiatives to support development of securities products and platforms.
  • Deepen the relationship with Members, and other external stakeholders.
  • Support manager to build an effective and cohesive team contributing to SGX’s success.  

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder with minimum 4-6 years working experience in Securities related field
  • Strong understanding of Equities & FICC products & processes
  • Experience in process improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of accurate execution and an eye for details.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, assess complex situations and develop practical solutions
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem solving abilities
  • Strong inter-personal and effective relationship management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Knowledge in RPA / VBA / Python language
