Being an intern at Cascades is a unique opportunity to define your interests and discover your passion as our new Engineering Intern:

• Learn the papermaking process and support projects across stock preparation, wet end, and dry end operations.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians on process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and machine uptime.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma tools and conduct data analysis to drive project outcomes.
• Assist with lab testing, chemical/process trials, and SOP development.
• Facilitate meetings and contribute to cross-functional team discussions.

• Candidates working towards a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Paper Engineering
• GPA 3.00 or higher
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Ability to manage time to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
