Core Accountabilities:

• Requirements Analysis: Work with stakeholders to gather and define system requirements and ensure radar system designs meet these requirements. • System Design & Development: Design, develop, and implement radar or electronic warfare systems and subsystems, including transmitters, receivers, antennas, signal processors, and control systems. • Integration & Testing: Oversee the integration and testing of radar components and systems, ensuring they meet performance specifications and operational requirements. • System Optimization: Continuously assess and optimize radar system performance, including range, resolution, sensitivity, and reliability under varying environmental conditions. • Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve radar system issues in both development and operational environments. Work closely with teams to perform fault isolation and corrective actions. • Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, reports, and system manuals. • Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and other technical specialists to ensure seamless integration of radar or electronic warfare systems.  

Supporting Accountabilities:

• Simulation & Modeling: Use simulation tools and modeling techniques to predict system performance, identify potential issues, and optimize radar system behavior before deployment. • Signal & Data Processing: Develop algorithms and software for radar signal processing, including techniques such as pulse compression, Doppler processing, and target detection. • Research & Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radar technologies and contribute to R&D activities to improve system capabilities and incorporate cutting-edge innovations. • Acceptance & Field testing: Knowledgeable on creating viable efficient test plans for radar & EW equipment. Ability to deploy and execute the test plans to confirm compliance to requirements.   REQUIREMENTS:   • 10+ years of experience in radar or electronic warfare system engineering for military or defense related clients. • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related field. • A Master’s or a Ph.D. degree is a plus with preference given to the highest qualification. • Proven experience in the design, development, and testing of radar or EW systems and components. • In-depth knowledge of radar or EW principles, including electromagnetic theory, RF systems, radar waveforms, and signal processing techniques. • Knowledge of phased array radar systems, synthetic aperture radar (SAR), or multi-static radar systems. • Strong skills in mathematics, image, signal, or data processing. • System modelling in MATLAB, Julia, or Python. Alternatively, ability to implement real-time software in C/C++, CUDA/ OpenCL or VHDL. • System engineering: knowledge of the methodology, tools, and processes. • Engineering competence in all engineering domains applicable to radar, and electronic warfare systems including mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software engineering. • Technical document writing and review. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize complex systems. • High attention to detail with the ability to innovate and improve system performance.
