Job Description
The Senior Business Systems Analyst (Financials) will Plan and direct analysis of complex business problems and develop solutions using Oracle e-Business Suite Applications R12/Oracle Cloud ERP with focus on financial and PPM modules.
- Apply core modules including Project financial management (PFM) and Project execution management(PEM) of PPM, General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cost Management (CM), Approval Workflow, Subledger Accounting (SLA), Ebiz Tax and Reporting tools (Smart View) to improve core Oracle financials and project management functionalities and customization process.
- Define IT solutions to business needs and communicate IT solution alternatives to business unit management, and assist in decision making.
- Synthesize cross functional activities.
- Provide user training on new implementation and any changes/updates to process/Oracle applications.
- Coordinate with technical teams to design required functionality and help with solutioning and unit testing.
- Create and maintain project plans to implement approved IT projects for system upgrades, new implementations of modules/tracks, and any projects that involve Oracle using Oracle standard and custom functionalities.
- Provide production support using service management tools and procedures for tracking, user communication and service level management.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, identify root causes using TOAD/SQL Developer queries and provide the businesses the Ad hoc reports as and when requested.
- Create and update business process documents pertaining to financial and PPM processes including month-end closing using the oracle PPM modules and Oracle financial modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, and CM.
This position will be working a hybrid schedule with 3 days per week at the company’s Los Angeles, CA office, and the option to telecommute from within the US permissible twice per week.
Position requires domestic travel up to 10% of the time.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree (will accept 3 or 4 year bachelor’s degrees) in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information System, or a closely related field, plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or a related position involving business systems analysis using Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion Cloud Functional Applications with Financial and PPM Modules.
- Five (5) years of experience must include: Analysis of financial problems using Oracle e-business suite, and Oracle Fusion Cloud Functional Applications with Financial and PPM Modules
- Rate of Pay: $149,000 to $181,000 per year (+ benefits)
- This is a full-time (40 hours per week) professional position.
