Job Description
The purpose of this position is to assist company attorneys in all stages of corporate activity to prepare documents in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in the conduct of business activities.
In This Role You Will:
- Coordinate and maintain litigation files, databases, and schedules in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
- Monitor case timelines, deadlines, and court requirements to ensure timely actions are taken.
- Liaise with internal teams, outside counsel, and other third parties to exchange necessary and accurate case-related information.
- Assist with the collection, review, and production of documents in response to discovery requests and subpoenas.
- Prepare standard legal correspondence, reports, and summaries as directed.
- Support legal team with case preparation tasks, including organizing exhibits, transcripts, and legal filings.
- Use existing tools and procedures to solve routine or recurring problems within the scope of the role.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in documentation and communications to maintain high-quality work output.
- Track key metrics and assist in meeting departmental deadlines and short-term litigation goals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a legal support, paralegal, or litigation coordination role.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and legal document management systems.
- Working knowledge of litigation processes and relevant legal terminology.
- Ability to apply standard practices and understand basic business drivers impacting litigation activities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
