Job Description
At the forefront of our activities, the proposals team works closely with all the disciplines that make up our firm to produce strategic and impactful content showcasing our expertise. As a content writer and business development specialist, your role will be to bring ideas to life, make complex concepts accessible, and gather the most relevant documentation to win mandates related to disciplines as diverse as architecture, landscape architecture, sustainable strategies, interior design, urban planning and urban design. You will play a key role in creating proposals that stand out, writing meaningful content and showcasing our corporate vision.

As a strategic pillar of business development, you will play a key role in coordinating, writing and optimizing the firm’s proposals. Your contribution will have a direct impact on our ability to win major mandates and maintain our leadership position in our sector.

Your Role, Day-To-Day
- Orchestrate collaboration between internal and external partners in the production of responses to various calls for proposals.
- Ensure rigorous planning and management of proposal production schedules, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Analyze RFP requirements to identify strategic levers and build winning proposals.
- Write, review and format proposals, in synergy with the expert teams involved.
- Contribute to the layout and editing of documents to create distinctive and impactful content.
- Stay informed about market trends and best practices in proposal presentation.
- Propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Participate in the production of marketing documents essential to the firm’s influence, in Canada and internationally.
Qualifications
- University degree in writing, communications, journalism, marketing, administration, architecture or a related field.
- Between 5 and 10 years of experience writing service proposals in the service industry.
- Experience in the architecture, design, creative, engineering or construction sectors is an asset.
- Superior writing skills.
- Ability to work in a multitasking environment while managing changing priorities.
- Ability to edit, translate, review and adapt technical terminology.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and Adobe InDesign.
- Excellent command of French both orally and in writing. Knowledge of English is an asset.
