Job Description

This is a strategic and hands-on technical leadership role focused on ensuring system availability, resilience, scalability, and reliability. You will architect and evolve automation frameworks, lead non-functional testing and mentor engineers across the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Non-Functional Testing

• Define and implement strategies for availability, scalability, security, and reliability testing. 
• Design and execute load, stress, spike, and chaos testing scenarios to validate system behavior under extreme conditions. 
• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics: response time, throughput, resource utilization, and error rates. 
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to simulate real-world production environments and failure modes.
• Integrate non-functional testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.

• Automation Framework Leadership

• Architect and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, Appium, and Jenkins. 
• Drive automation coverage across functional and non-functional domains.
• Ensure frameworks support white-box, black-box, and API-level testing.
• Functional Testing & QA Governance
• Oversee functional test planning, execution, and defect triage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align QA strategies with business goals.
• Promote a culture of quality ownership, continuous improvement, and agile testing practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in QA with deep expertise in performance, chaos, and automation testing.
• Proficiency in Java, SQL, and scripting languages.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms. 
• Strong understanding of test design techniques, data analytics, and system architecture. [
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
