The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising and directing their warehouse department and reports to the Warehouse Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute daily operational tasks for current day and week, keeping overtime to a minimum 
• Working together with Team Leaders to ensure all daily responsibilities are attended to in a customer service-oriented and productive fashion
• Direct the daily duties of the warehouse personnel which may involve cross-training, assigning staff to different areas of the warehouse and continuous follow up.
• Creating and maintaining a safe and productive work environment
• Adhere to all policies and procedures
• Ensure that stock count is checked, and any discrepancies are investigated and corrected; inventory accuracy is maintained
• Responsible for performance and attendance management for warehouse staff
• Ensuring that all operating equipment is in good working order

Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of supervisory experience within a warehouse environment
• Experience with UPS, FedEx, Couriers, LTL, and container shipping considered an asset
• Experience with RF scan, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is an asset
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Detail-oriented
• A self-starter who takes initiative and sets a good example for the warehouse staff
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Physically able to lift heavy shipments and products between 50 to 70 lbs.
• Flexibility with working hours and ability to work weekends
• Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed

The salary for this role is budgeted at $70,000 - $90,000
