Project Manager - Banking

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with strong experience in Waterfall methodology to lead and deliver projects within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards while effectively coordinating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, plan, and execute banking projects using Waterfall methodology.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk logs.
• Track and report project progress to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal governance standards.
• Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.

Key Requirements:

• Middle to Senior-level experience in project management (5+ years).
• Strong experience with Waterfall methodology; Agile exposure is a plus.
• Proven track record of managing banking or financial services projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 are highly desirable.
