About The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Operations Manager to lead our regional IT function, ensuring the seamless delivery, stability, and evolution of our IT infrastructure and services. 

As the IT Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supporting and optimising Sandvik’s IT operating environment. You will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure, service delivery, and change implementation with minimal business disruption. This includes overseeing operational incidents and service requests, receiving and embedding new IT projects, and leading a regional team to deliver efficient, customer-focused IT services.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain visibility of regional IT operations through real-time reporting and data analytics.
  • Lead the delivery and integration of infrastructure projects across networks, servers, cloud, and client systems.
  • Develop and mentor your team to uphold high service standards and process alignment.
  • Build strong relationships with global IT stakeholders to support continuous improvement and service development.
  • Ensure alignment with Sandvik’s Zero Harm safety vision and compliance with EHS and quality frameworks.

About You:

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on IT leader who can balance technical oversight with operational excellence. You will bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in IT management across infrastructure and applications.
  • Proven success in leading distributed regional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of server, network, cloud, and client interconnectivity.
  • Experience delivering and embedding large-scale IT projects.
  • Proficiency in data analytics, reporting, and IT service management dashboards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
