✨ Let’s give businesses more time for what matters.
Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company
At BILL, you’ll join a high-growth fintech (15% YoY and counting) that’s helping accounting firms and SMBs run their businesses smarter. We’re at the forefront of the AI revolution, reimagining how companies manage their financial operations, and we’re expanding into new growth areas like tax and procurement to fuel the next chapter. Beyond the numbers, you’ll find a culture built on collaboration, curiosity, and growth. BILL is a company where your ideas matter, your impact is visible, and your career can thrive.
The Product Marketing team within BILL is the driving force behind getting products to market and growing their impact on customers and the business. We represent the voice of the customer before, during, and after launch, articulate a product’s value in a way that resonates with customers and differentiates vis-à-vis the competition, and drive product adoption, retention, and advocacy.
At BILL, the product marketing team works cross-functionally with Product, Growth Marketing, Support, Sales, Customer Success, Brand, Growth, Creative, Analytics, and Legal, making it an extremely dynamic and influential part of the organization. You’ll be responsible for driving both strategy and execution across the entire GTM lifecycle, with a focus on expanding BILL’s impact within the AC segment and unlocking SAM expansion opportunities in your owned areas.
This role will be focused on executing a high volume of product and feature launches, building strategies for growth and retention, leveraging research to craft compelling positioning and messaging, and coordinating multiple projects across various teams at once. You’ll also play a critical role in shaping how BILL reaches and serves accountant partnership customers, meeting their unique needs, uncovering adjacencies, and ensuring our solutions scale with them.
Success will be measured both by your ability to deliver against business metrics and by your ability to engage and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
What You’Ll Do:
- Apply a data-driven approach to uncover insights, assess performance, and inform prioritization of SAM expansion opportunities, ensuring decisions are grounded in market evidence and customer needs.
- Execute key product and feature launches that drive adoption and retention in the accountant partnership.
- Partner with Product to shape roadmap decisions and recommend new features that unlock incremental growth.
- Craft and evolve customer-centric messaging that highlights BILL’s value for segments within AC and sets us apart in the market.
- Collaborate with Sales and CS to deliver enablement assets and plays that fuel adoption and expansion.
- Track and measure effectiveness of launches and expansion initiatives, providing insights that refine future GTM strategy.
What makes you successful in this role:
- Excellent communication: You communicate effectively (and proactively) with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on high-profile projects. You also teach, train, and inform - you are the “storyteller” for your product.
- Project management skills: You prioritize work based on the most important projects/outcomes and efficiently drive multiple complex projects end-to-end. You find solutions when timelines are at risk.
- Effective collaboration: You work efficiently with cross-functional team members to solve obstacles and challenges. You can also persuade, inform, and excite peers about your projects.
- GTM planning and execution: Collaborate on strategy, gain alignment with cross-functional stakeholders, secure resources, and support flawless GTM executions.
- Customer champion: Be the voice of the customer. Know customer needs, journey, and mindset across segments, and translate those insights into messaging and SAM growth opportunities.
- Product expertise: You’re dedicated to learning the product and understanding how the customer uses it. You act as a partner to influence the roadmap and recommend new features to build, particularly where they drive SAM expansion.
- Flexibility and curiosity: If no one is certain of the answer, you find it. If something doesn’t make sense, you ask why. If the plan changes, you adjust. And at the end of the day, you share your learnings with broader teams.
- Sales enabler: Work closely with the Sales team to provide assets and tools to drive adoption and expansion. Continue to evolve materials to address objections, competition, and new capabilities.
We’d love to chat if you have:
- 3+ years of professional experience in a product marketing role or strong equivalent.
- Direct experience in B2B SaaS and/or fintech.
- Experience successfully launching new features/products and identifying market expansion opportunities.
- Strong presentation skills (a plus), including speaking for product demos, webinars, customer events, and more.
- Experience executing on strategic plans, including GTM launches or campaigns.
- Experience with data analytics and the ability to distill insights from research data, customer interactions, and market feedback.
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally, interacting with leadership, and influencing without authority.
- Analytical mindset - experience interpreting and summarizing data to glean actionable insights, including those tied to SAM expansion.
- Comfort navigating ambiguous situations and matrixed organizational structures, coupled with the agility to adapt and recalibrate strategies as necessary.
- Adept at influencing and communicating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
