Twin Health
At Twin Health, we empower people to improve and prevent chronic metabolic diseases, like type 2 diabetes and obesity, with a new standard of care. Twin Health is the only company applying AI Digital Twin technology exclusively toward metabolic health.
We start by building a dynamic model of each person’s metabolism — drawing on thousands of data points from CGMs, smartwatches, and meal logs — that maps their personal path to better health. Guided by a dedicated clinical care team, our members have lowered their A1C below the diabetes range, achieved lasting weight loss, and reduced or even eliminated medications, all while living healthier, happier lives.
Working Here
Our team at Twin Health is passionate, talented, and united by a shared purpose: to improve the metabolic health and happiness of our members. We believe in empowering every Twin to make a meaningful impact for our members, our clients, and each other, while enjoying a supportive, collaborative work environment.
Twin has been recognized not only for our innovation but also for our culture, including: Innovator of the Year by the Employer Health Innovation Roundtable (EHIR), selected to CB Insights’ Digital Health 150, and named one of Newsweek’s Top Most Loved Workplace® .
With more than $100 million raised in recent funding, including a $53 million Series E round in 2025 led by Maj Invest, and a $50 million investment in 2023 led by Temasek, Twin is scaling rapidly across the U.S. and globally. Backed by leading venture firms like ICONIQ Growth, Sequoia, Sofina, Temasek, and Peak XV, we are building the most impactful digital health company in the world.
Join us as we reinvent the standard of care in metabolic health.
Opportunity
We are moving into an AI-agentic era, where products are becoming more intelligent, conversational, and autonomous. We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer who thinks beyond traditional web applications to build the next generation of AI-native products. This is not a typical fullstack role; it’s an opportunity to redefine how users interact with technology.
You will be a key player in modernizing our product, designing and building the complete user experience for our AI-agentic systems. You will work across the entire stack, from crafting intuitive, conversational UIs to building the backend services that power our intelligent agents. You'll collaborate closely with AI engineers, product managers, and designers to bring these cutting-edge experiences to life.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of the complete user-facing experience for our AI-agentic systems, from concept to deployment.
- Build novel, conversational, and multi-modal web user interfaces that go beyond traditional forms and buttons.
- Architect and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that connect the frontend to our core AI models and agentic logic.
- Rapidly prototype and iterate on new, ambiguous product concepts, demonstrating a strong ability to navigate the unknown.
- Champion best practices for the full lifecycle of AI-native applications, including testing, monitoring, security, and scalability.
- Mentor other engineers, helping to elevate the team's ability to think about and build for the AI-agentic era.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed, including on-call rotations.
- Regular travel to our Mountain View headquarters for planning workshops and team collaboration sessions.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM-related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of fullstack software engineering experience, building and shipping complex, user-facing products.
- Expertise in a modern frontend framework (e.g., React, Vue, Svelte) and a passion for crafting exceptional user experiences.
- Proficiency in one or more backend languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, Go, Java).
- Demonstrated experience (professional or personal projects) building applications with Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Familiarity with the modern AI application stack, including prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, and agentic frameworks.
- Strong API design skills (REST, GraphQL) and experience integrating complex systems.
- A product-driven mindset with the ability to translate ambiguous business needs into concrete technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Experience in healthcare or a related regulated field is a plus.
- This remote opportunity based out of the U.S. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
