In This Role
You will join a team responsible for building and maintaining a container-based managed platform that power's identity and access services for global-scale users. The role focuses on improving platform reliability, enhancing security, streamlining operations, and enabling innovation across multiple identity-related services. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and product teams to ensure the platform supports current and future business needs efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications and services using .NET and Azure technologies.
- Implement containerized solutions leveraging Kubernetes to optimize scalability and performance.
- Debug, perform unit testing, and conduct peer code reviews to ensure software quality and consistency with engineering standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and support deployment pipelines.
- Participate in architecture discussions, contribute to technical documentation, and support migration of services to new platforms.
- Support CI/CD processes, configuration management, and operational automation for improved reliability and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with cloud attestation and security requirements across development and deployment activities.
- 3–4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with .NET development.
- 2+ years of practical experience with Azure services and cloud-based deployment.
- 3+ years of experience working on Kubernetes or platform engineering.
- Strong understanding of software debugging, unit testing, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate in hybrid work environments.
- Support CI/CD processes, configuration management, and operational automation for improved reliability and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with cloud attestation and security requirements across development and deployment activities.
- 3–4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with .NET development.
- 2+ years of practical experience with Azure services and cloud-based deployment.
- 3+ years of experience working on Kubernetes or platform engineering.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, microservices, and modern DevOps practices.
- Prior experience in major enterprise environments (e.g., large-scale identity or platform engineering teams).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset with a focus on automation and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $100,000 to $110,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
