The Role
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and building strong client relationships? Join the FT Professional division of the Financial Times, which licenses FT content to organisations around the world, serving clients across corporate, finance, government, professional services, education, and media sectors.
As an Account Development Representative (ADR) in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team, you’ll play a key role in onboarding and driving engagement with first-year group subscription clients in the Continental Europe, Middle East, and Africa (CEMEA) region. You’ll work closely with CRMs and cross-functional teams to ensure customers get maximum value from their FT access, while uncovering opportunities to grow our footprint within these organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead onboarding and rollout plans for new clients, ensuring strong adoption and engagement.
- Support the CRM team in identifying growth opportunities, surfacing new commercial contacts, and managing risks across accounts.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and develop a deep understanding of how the FT can support their strategic goals.
- Supervise usage and copyright activity to ensure compliance and protect the FT's intellectual property.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to deliver on regional objectives.
- Provide product and technical guidance on FT content, tools, and drive client value and satisfaction.
Required Skills And Experience
- Excellent communication and listening skills, especially over phone and video calls.
- Ability to uncover client needs and align FT solutions accordingly.
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and proactive in your approach.
- Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Data-savvy approach with the ability to analyse usage trends and progress reports (Excel proficiency a plus).
- Prior experience in Customer Success or a similar client-facing role.
- Knowledge of, or experience working within, the CEMEA region.
Desirable
- Multilingual proficiency (French, German, Arabic, or another CEMEA language).
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools to enhance sales efficiency is a strong advantage.
- Understanding of B2B subscription models or media licensing.
