Job Description

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Responsible to drive for IATF16949 automotive certification coordination.
• Responsible on below QMS scope of IATF certification.
• 3rd Party Letter of Compliance (LOC) & Certification Audit –  IATF (DNV) and customer audit / internal customer interfacing team audit.
• Coordinate automotive Quality System readiness and compliance to IATF standards and customer specific requirement (CSR) standards.
• Build up internal team competency & knowledge by working with identified consultant for the required training program.
• Establish milestone and deliverables such as 5 Core Tools compliance to prepare automotive system readiness.
• Collaborate with respective teams to prepare Engineering readiness for automotive process and product requirement capability and document enhancement structure.
• Collaborate with cross sites factory and represent SDSM for IATF harmonization and benchmarking activities across Western Digital automotive sites.
• Establish Internal Audits for system, process VDA 6.3 and product VDA 6.5 audits to surface up gaps and work on improvement plan to meet IATF certification requirement. Be part of internal auditors for Integrated Management System & IATF process and product audit. Coach internal auditors for competent auditing skills.
• Setup Management Review to communicate readiness, gaps identified and communicate and highlight progress towards certification milestone and timeline.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum degree holder in Engineering.
• Having experience of minimum 7 years experience in QMS with automotive IATF16949 certification knowledge demonstrated.

Preferred:

• Manufacturing Quality Assurance or Consulting working experience.
• Experience working with product development team is an added advantage.

Skills:

• Program/product management, problem solving & excellent communication skills both oral & written.
• Experience in Six Sigma is an added advantage.
