The Evergreen holding company team is comprised of 40+ professionals based in San Francisco who are focused on capital allocation, M&A, executive level hiring, strategic board leadership, and finance and accounting. What You'Ll Do
- Own the sales transition: Lead the shift from founder-led sales to a professional, scalable go-to-market model. Many of our customers are business owners preparing for retirement — you’ll step in to take the sales reins.
- Build a world-class sales function: Define structure, sales processes, tools, compensation plans, and metrics. Establish BDR/SDR teams, marketing initiatives, and repeatable playbooks to fuel consistent pipeline growth.
- Player/Coach: Leverage your own network and sales expertise to close deals directly while building and mentoring a high-impact sales team.
- Run integrated growth campaigns: Partner across marketing, account management, and operations to execute cross-functional initiatives that drive new customer acquisition.
- Partner with the CEO: Act as a key strategic advisor and execution partner, helping shape the overall business strategy and scaling the company’s growth engine.
- MSP expertise (preferred): Prior experience selling Managed Services or working within an MSP environment is a strong advantage.
What We’Re Looking For
- Proven experience leading sales or growth functions and successfully transitioning from founder-led to professionalized sales.
- Strong track record as both an individual contributor and team builder.
- Deep understanding of modern sales processes, tools, and metrics.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive company-wide growth initiatives.
- (Preferred) Experience selling in Managed Service Provider (MSP) or IT services environments.
