Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Associate Program Manager to support the Demand Generation organization at Freshworks. This role combines program and project management responsibilities with operational support to ensure the Demand Generation function runs smoothly. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing multiple priorities and is motivated by enabling a high-impact marketing team to achieve its goals.

  • You will be a trusted partner to the VP and leadership team—coordinating projects, tracking deliverables and ensuring effective communication and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Please note: This is a hybrid role that will be based in San Mateo, CA and requires an in-office presence three days per week (Tuesday - Thursday). 

Program & Project Coordination

  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and workstreams for key Demand Generation initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to coordinate inputs for campaigns, events, and operational projects.
  • Create and maintain project trackers, dashboards, and status reports to provide visibility on progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Track and drive follow-through on action items from leadership meetings.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend ways to improve efficiency and coordination.

Leadership & Operational Support

  • Optimize scheduling and time allocation for the VP of Demand Generation to balance strategic priorities.
  • Prepare agendas, briefing materials, and presentations for leadership and cross-functional meetings.
  • Serve as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely information flow.

Travel, Events & Logistics

  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements.
  • Support planning and execution of team meetings, workshops, and offsites.
  • Manage expense reports, budget tracking, and operational documentation.

Qualifications

  • ​​​​​3-5+ years of experience as a Program Coordinator, Project Manager, or in a similar operational support role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar) and project management tools (Asana, Trello, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in marketing, sales, or technology industry is a plus.

Additional Information

Please note: This is a hybrid role that will be based in San Mateo, CA and requires an in-office presence three days per week (Tuesday - Thursday). 

This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and the expected base salary range for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for a target bonus.

Compensation Package

$94,600-$135,930 USD Base Salary
