Job Description

As a Development Support Engineer, you will be essential for the successful operation and maintenance of our RIAK platform, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for Business-critical systems.

Join our dedicated RIAK team as a Development Support Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and availability of our global-scale, Business-critical production system. In this position, you will collaborate with a talented group of professionals, leveraging collective experience, industry best practices, and bespoke services to effectively administer and operate our production platforms.

Our team is composed of delivery-focused, diligent, and resilient experts in distributed systems, all committed to maintaining the highest standards of service. Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience with Linux and Unix, including Bash, AWK, SED and grep.
• Knowledge and experience of GNU utilities.
• Ability to make and act on decisions under pressure.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of networking, including host and preferably media layers.
• Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate concisely, both verbally and written.
