Job Description
As a Delivery Lead you will oversee project delivery and governance, allocating resource effectively to ensure high quality solutions are delivered to stakeholders.
The Sports Platform department is responsible for developing and supporting all Sports critical systems. We are seeking a technically minded and knowledgeable individual with a proven track record of project delivery. This role will focus on process, coordination, and governance throughout the delivery lifecycle across both the development team and the wider department.
You will maintain a detailed technical understanding of our systems, develop and implement resource plans, proactively address issues and manage stakeholder relations to enhance the delivery process.
Working across the wider team, you will mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge through regular coaching, and ensuring they fully understand the product architecture of the project.
This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Additional Information
- Maintaining knowledge of the technical structure, domain, and architecture of your team's systems, including their configuration across development and production environments.
- Developing and maintaining resource plans to effectively facilitate planning and prioritisation, ensuring that project deliveries align with business-required dates.
- Contributing to the successful progression of work items, ensuring the creation of successful solutions and engaging relevant teams for new projects.
- Monitoring the progress of deliverables, proactively communicating updates, managing projects through the delivery cycle, and raising issues promptly.
- Removing blockers, reporting on trends, and innovating to improve delivery processes and the quality of RTL.
- Ensuring adherence to all team and departmental rules, standards, processes, and procedures, while maintaining accurate and accessible documentation for your product areas.
- Acting as a point of contact for the team and stakeholders, escalating issues and taking ownership of problems raised.
- Mentoring other team members to support their development and ensuring the team understands the architecture of the products you are responsible for.
- Fostering strong relationships and liaising effectively with development and IT functions, as well as across all delivery teams.
- Ensuring, clear understanding of role and work requirements within the team, maintaining open communication channels, and fulfilling reporting obligations to stakeholders.
