We are looking for a versatile analytics professional who thrives at the intersection of business and data engineering. We are a team that moves quickly and relies on each other to think independently, work autonomously, handle ambiguity, and solve hard problems. You can move seamlessly between exploring customer behavior data, building analytical logic, and advising senior leaders on what to do next. You’re equally comfortable diving deep into SQL as you are presenting insights to executive stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Develop customer-centric analyses and solve challenging problems from a variety of consumer verticals.
- Consult with leaders from major consumer brands to identify trends, opportunities, and valuable segments that help them drive and measure incremental growth.
- Support GTM team’s selling motion with your deep analytics expertise, generating insights that showcase the value from Customer Data Platforms (such as Amperity, Segment, Redpoint, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope and execute projects that connect data strategy, analytics, and activation.
- Build KPIs/metrics by applying data transformation techniques such as aggregation, resampling, filtering etc.
- Design and implement data workflows and pipelines that prepare, transform, and optimize customer data for analysis.
- Develop and maintain key business metrics and dashboards using modern BI tools, ensuring consistency and accuracy across data sources.
- Document and automate repeatable analytical processes, leveraging SQL, Python, and cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) to scale insights delivery.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years experience in a consulting, business analytics, or data science role,
preferably working with customer behaviour data for a direct-to-consumer business
- Demonstrated ability to independently plan and execute repeatable analyses and
recommend actionable strategy for a variety of industries
- Strong communicator who easily bridges the gap between data and business owners
- Excellent SQL skills with experience using statistical computer languages (Python, R,
- PySpark, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets
- Working proficiency with Python (experience with dbt, PySpark, or similar frameworks preferred)
- Hands-on experience with data modeling, transformation, and pipeline orchestration
