Job Description

As a Technical Consultant at KPN, you’ll dive deep into the security infrastructure of our customers. You design and build innovative systems that we manage on their behalf, ensuring a smooth transition to our operations team.

You know how to turn complex challenges into smart, effective solutions. Together with the customer, you translate their needs into clear technical specifications. You create high-level designs and align them with our lead consultants and architects to ensure everything fits seamlessly.

You Bring The Following Qualities:

• You have a strong interest in emerging technologies and are always curious to explore new developments.
• At KPN, you work in a hybrid environment: regularly at our Amersfoort office or on-site with customers, with plenty of flexibility to work from home. On average, you’ll spend 2 to 3 days per week at a KPN location or customer site, and the rest remotely—allowing you to balance work and personal life effectively.

Qualifications

To strengthen our team, we’re looking for a Technical Consultant with broad, proven expertise in network security and cloud security.

You Bring:

• A proactive mindset with a customer-focused approach—you take pride in delivering quality service.
• Experience with one or more of the following vendors: F5, Palo Alto, Zscaler, Netskope.
• A solid foundation in networking and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to invest in relevant vendor and industry certifications.
• The ability to identify commercial opportunities, advise customers on optimization, and actively build your professional network.

• A gross monthly salary between €5,742 and €8,865, depending on experience (based on a 40-hour week)
