Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement a territory sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with OEMs, system integrators, and end-users.
- Manage, support, and grow relationships with distribution and channel partners.
- Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations as required.
- Provide training and joint sales support to channel partners to strengthen market presence.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales opportunities, and forecasts within CRM tools.
- Monitor competitive activity and provide market feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal departments including product management, engineering, and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and technical support.
- Travel within the assigned territory as required (approximately 50%).
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in flow meters, instrumentation, process control equipment, or similar industrial products.
- Demonstrated success in both direct and channel sales environments.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate product specifications and applications.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Residence in Texas preferred; must reside within the assigned territory.
- 3+ years as a successful Outside sales Territory Manager with a demonstrated level of technical competence.
