This role is intended to work closely with the production manufacturing line to design, build, optimize, debug, document and qualify these specialized test systems.
This position will combine hardware development in SolidWorks and software development using C# that controls motorized stages, optical systems, sensors, and electrical systems (mechatronics). It may also involve analysis of instrument performance through data collection, visualization and analysis.
Our test systems have extremely high-performance standards to calibrate and test endoscopes that are safe, reliable, and consistent. Responsibilities include everything from laying down the architecture and design, to leading the development, release, deployment, documentation, data analysis and sustaining of software and algorithms for test and calibration of the vision systems for Single Port da Vinci systems.
