A Snapshot

As a Group Treasury  - Financial Analyst (based in Sydney, Australia) you will work closely with our global and local Treasury, Finance and Corporate Development teams, making your mark in a number of ways:

  • Development and refinement of best in class treasury framework, policies and other financial governance.
  • Lead and contribute to group treasury initiatives such as process improvements, system implementations and upgrades etc
  • Functional responsibility for reporting and analysis of financial risks of AirTrunk under Policy and Debt Platforms
  • Collaborating with local and offshore stakeholders, maintaining and strengthening these relationships and building new relationships over time.

Your Day to Day

Financial Data Analysis & Risk Insights

  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across interest rates, foreign exchange (FX), and commodities.
  • Develop data models to quantify financial exposures and support strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain and enhance financial risk dashboards and registers, ensuring insights are effectively communicated to stakeholders.

Reporting & Insights

  • Prepare and deliver detailed financial analysis reports for internal and external stakeholders, including board presentations, investor materials, and due diligence packs.
  • Ensure accurate valuation and reporting of financial instruments, including mark-to-market assessments.
  • Support audit processes by providing clear, well-documented financial data and analysis aligned with regulatory and internal standards.

Compliance & Controls

  • Monitor adherence to financial data governance policies and ensure alignment with market best practices.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of data integrity and compliance across financial systems and reporting processes.
  • Stay current with regulatory developments and update data analysis procedures accordingly.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Lead initiatives to improve financial data workflows, enhance reporting accuracy, and automate recurring analysis tasks.
  • Implement best practices in financial data management, analytics, and visualization.
  • Manage data integrations between financial systems (e.g., ERP, Treasury Management System), ensuring consistency and reconciliation.

Transaction & Data Operations

  • Oversee data validation and reconciliation processes for financial transactions, ensuring accuracy across systems.
  • Manage intercompany financial data flows, including loans and settlements, to optimize internal reporting and cash flow visibility.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of financial accounts and data records across platforms.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure data needs are met and insights are actionable.
  • Support banking and financial service relationships through data-driven performance reviews and reporting.
  • Assist in managing financial service tools and platforms, ensuring they deliver value and efficiency.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor a team of financial data analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Balance strategic project leadership with day-to-day data operations and reporting responsibilities.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree (or above) in business, commerce, economics, finance or similar field
  • Data Automation and Reporting - Power BI and advanced Excel at minimum
  • 3-5+ years previous corporate treasury experience ideally in a business with an international footprint
  • Group Treasury or Finance related roles within multicurrency, multijurisdictional organizations ideally in Data Center/Technology and/or Commercial real estate/REIT and/or development finance
  • A fast learner who thrives working in a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity and ambition
