Job Description: Senior Product Manager, Connected Services Location: Bengaluru Experience Level: 15-20 Years Job Summary We'Re Looking For A Highly Experienced And Strategic Senior Product Manager To Lead The Development, Delivery, And Lifecycle Management Of Our Connected Services Portfolio For Passenger Cars, Commercial Vehicles, And Two-Wheelers. The Ideal Candidate Will Have A Deep Understanding Of The Connected Vehicle Ecosystem, A Proven Track Record Of Bringing Complex Products To Market, And Exceptional Skills In Stakeholder Management. This Role Requires A Blend Of Technical Expertise, Business Acumen, And A Customer-Centric Approach To Drive Innovation, Define Product Strategy, And Ensure The Successful, On-Time Delivery Of Our Services. Key Responsibilities 1. Product Strategy & Development • Define And Execute The Connected Services Product Roadmap For Passenger Cars, Commercial Vehicles, And Two-Wheelers. This Includes Defining Features Such As Telematics, Infotainment, Over-The-Air (Ota) Updates, Fleet Management, And Predictive Maintenance. • Lead The Entire Product Lifecycle From Ideation And Requirements Gathering To Launch, Scale, And End-Of-Life. • Conduct Market Research And Competitive Analysis To Identify New Opportunities, Customer Needs, And Emerging Technologies In The Connected Mobility Space. • Develop And Manage Project Plans, Budgets, And Resource Allocation, Ensuring On-Time And On-Budget Delivery. 2. Solutioning & Customer Engagement • Act As The Product Evangelist And Subject Matter Expert For Connected Services, Engaging With Oems, Fleet Operators, And Enterprise Customers. • Lead Solutioning Discussions To Architect And Define Tailored Connected Service Offerings That Meet Specific Customer Requirements And Business Goals. • Prepare And Deliver Compelling Product Presentations And Demonstrations To Internal And External Stakeholders, Highlighting The Value Proposition Of Our Solutions. • Manage Key Customer Relationships, Ensuring Alignment Between Customer Expectations And Product Delivery. 3. Delivery & Execution • Drive The End-To-End Delivery Of Connected Services, Ensuring They Are Launched On Time, Within Budget, And To The Highest Quality Standards. • Lead And Manage The Execution Of Product Roadmaps, Monitoring Progress Against Key Milestones And Kpis. • Identify And Mitigate Risks And Roadblocks That Could Impact Project Timelines Or Scope. • Coordinate With All Relevant Teams (Engineering, Operations, Quality Assurance, And Sales) To Ensure A Smooth And Successful Product Rollout And Post-Launch Support. 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership • Lead Cross-Functional Teams, Including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, And Operations, To Ensure Seamless Product Delivery And Go-To-Market Execution. • Collaborate With Business Development And Sales Teams To Support Pre-Sales Activities, Proposal Development, And Contract Negotiations. • Work Closely With Manufacturing And Quality Assurance Teams To Ensure Product Readiness For Mass Production And Deployment. • Mentor Junior Product Managers And Contribute To The Overall Product Management Discipline Within The Organization. Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor’S Or Master’S Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Or A Related Field. • 15-20 Years Of Experience In Product Management, With A Focus On Connected Services, Telematics, Or Iot In The Automotive Or Mobility Sector. • Demonstrated Experience In Leading The Development And Launch Of Software-As-A-Service (Saas) Or Platform-As-A-Service (Paas) Products. • Deep Technical Understanding Of Connected Vehicle Architectures, Cloud Platforms (Aws, Azure, Gcp), Data Analytics, And Cybersecurity. • Proven Ability To Manage Product Lifecycle From Ideation To End-Of-Life. • Exceptional Communication, Presentation, And Negotiation Skills. • Strong Leadership Capabilities With A Track Record Of Influencing And Collaborating With Diverse Teams. • Ability To Travel To Customer Locations And Industry Events As Needed.
