At our Malaysian Global Delivery Centre we deliver software engineering services in the industries of defense, government and cybersecurity to meet our customer’s needs. 

Our projects involve building large scale applications for enterprise or government customers presenting highly technical challenges for the right candidate.

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Java developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise grade applications

• You will be working in Small focused Agile teams; you will work on some of the latest technologies to ingest millions of records per second into massively scalable data stores.
• Creating high quality Java software code based on customer requested features
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternative technologies, tools and methods.
• Opportunities to contribute to system design and architectural decisions

Role Requirements

• You will have at least 4 years of professional software development using Java.
• Minimum 2 years developing Microservices using Spring Boot
• You will have experience writing unit tests for existing and new code to ensure compatibility and stability
• You will be experienced in using different types of source control (preferably Git), be familiar with continuous integration, test-driven development and be prepared to use Agile development techniques to incrementally deliver working software.
• You will work well within small teams, taking ownership of and delivering high quality software – you should take pride in the software you produce.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Industry experience of any of the following technologies/skills would be beneficial:

• Elasticsearch
• Docker
• Apache Hadoop, Kafka or Camel.
• Javascript
• Knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Kubernetes
• Nifi
• Nsq
• Apache Ignite
• Arango
