Director of AI Product Ops

About The Role

Adaptive Security is building the future of how employees stay secure against modern, AI-powered cybersecurity threats. We’re looking for a hands-on builder to lead our in-house learning and simulation team, a small high-output group designing interactive experiences and simulations.

This is a rare break-into-tech opportunity where you will own a critical part of the product and work closely with sales, customer success, product, engineering, and design. You will report directly to our co-founder and Chief Product Officer and get a front-row seat to how a fast-growing startup operates.

You will start as a player-coach, producing work yourself while managing a team of four AI product ops employees and several interns. Over time, you will scale the team, design systems that balance speed and creativity, and push the boundaries of how people learn. If you want to master cutting-edge AI tools and see your work make an immediate impact, this role is for you.

This is a hard-working, hands-on team. We are in-office five days a week, leading by example and staying close to the work. If you like moving fast and being in the middle of the action, you’ll fit right in.

What You’Ll Do

• Lead the team: Manage a group of 4+ AI product ops employees and interns, starting as a player-coach. Own both day-to-day execution and long-term strategy for delivering world-class simulations.
• Build the machine: Create scalable processes to ship high-quality content and experiments quickly. Spot bottlenecks, automate with AI, and continuously improve workflows.
• Invent new formats: Launch new ways of teaching complex ideas, from gamified experiences to immersive AI-powered simulations.
• Leverage AI at scale: Use generative AI and emerging tools to supercharge creativity, speed, and personalization.
• Work across the org: Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, CS, and Design so our work ties directly to customer needs and company goals.

What You Bring

• Experience in a high-performance, analytical environment (consulting, strategy, startups, ops, etc.).
• Ability to bring structure to chaos by tracking multiple workstreams, staying on top of details, and improving how things run.
• Comfort switching between detailed execution and big-picture strategy.
• Strong instincts for communication and storytelling, making complex ideas simple and engaging.
• Obsession with AI, using it constantly in your personal and professional life.
• Hunger to break into tech and lead, with a detail-oriented and organized approach.
