Finance is the engine of the global economy. It decides which ideas get built, which companies rise, and how resources are allocated. Yet it runs on slow tools and outdated technology.

Our mission is to transform finance. We’re building the AI analyst that makes every banker, investor, and executive smarter, faster, and more creative. When finance works better, capital flows more efficiently, innovation accelerates, and progress compounds across the entire economy. We’re not building generic AI. We are purpose-built for financial services, already working with the world’s largest banks, hedge funds, and private equity firms. Ten years from now, every financial institution will run on Rogo.

The Role

As a Enterprise Security Engineer at Rogo you will play a critical role building and maintaining Rogo’s internal security posture while enabling our employees to work securely and productively. You’ll work across infrastructure, endpoints, networking, and SaaS applications, ensuring “secure by default” environments for our team.

This is a highly collaborative role, where you’ll partner with IT, engineering, and operations teams to deliver scalable, proactive security capabilities and procedures.

What You Will Own

  • Design, implement, and manage security measures to protect Rogo’s information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
  • Monitor internal and external systems for threats and lead incident response efforts.
  • Harden infrastructure across Google Workspace, GitHub, and other SaaS platforms.
  • Deploy and manage endpoint security tooling, including macOS fleet protections and EDR solutions.
  • Develop identity and access management controls (SAML, OAuth, SCIM) to ensure secure user lifecycle management.
  • Create and enforce IT & Security policies that balance usability with strong protection.
  • Build and maintain security monitoring, DLP, and data-sharing controls.
  • Stay ahead of modern adversary tactics and integrate “zero trust” and “secure by default” principles into company operations.
  • Partner with employees across Rogo to educate and support them in maintaining security best practices.
  • Lead and mature incident response processes, including root cause analysis, forensics, and remediation.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies that strengthen Rogo’s endpoint, cloud, and data security.
  • Design and maintain secure network architecture, including VPNs, firewalls, and zero-trust access.

What You Will Need

  • Experience managing and protecting macOS and Linux fleets at scale.
  • Proven expertise in deploying endpoint security solutions (e.g., MDM, EDR tools).
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong understanding of IAM frameworks/protocols (SAML, OAuth, SCIM).
  • Familiarity with email security protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
  • Intermediate to advanced scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
  • Solid knowledge of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • Strong ability to collaborate, influence, and drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills in working across various lines of business.

Bonus

  • Experience contributing to SOC 2, ISO 27001, or other security/compliance frameworks.
  • Hands-on work with vulnerability management programs (scanning, patching, remediation).
  • Exposure to AI/automation for security detection, response, or data classification.

  • You thrive in fast-paced environments. You are high-intensity and care a lot about what you do, and you're ecstatic to work at a startup.
  • You are ambitious. You have fun solving problems that others think are impossible.
