Key Duties And Responsibilities
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Minor Hotels employees always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Execute recruitment efforts across various levels and functions.
- Develop proactive talent pipelines for key positions and operation-critical functions.
- Support hiring managers in defining role requirements and implementing best-in-class hiring processes.
- Conduct market mapping and talent research to identify and engage high-potential candidates.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Function as a Expert on Talent Acquisition and collaborate with different department Leaders to drive consistent and effective Recruitment and Talent Management Strategies.
Systems Management & Administration Processes
- Manage and optimize recruitment systems and tools i.e Smart Recruiter, Linkedin and Myjob to enhance efficiency and reporting capabilities.
- Ensure the integrity of recruitment data, providing insights and analytics to drive decision-making.
- Work closely with P&C Operation team to implement system enhancements and improvements.
Employer Branding & Talent Engagement
- Lead and support employer branding initiatives to position Anantara Iko Mauritius Resort as an employer of choice.
- Liaise with our marketing and communications teams to enhance recruitment messaging and outreach.
- Manage and expand school relationship programs with relevant top tier schools, fostering partnerships to attract emerging talent.
- Support the execution of the Ascent management trainee program, ensuring a strong pipeline of future leaders.
- Develop and implement initiatives to engage external and internal talent communities.
- Lead the hotel Talent Management system and tools.
Administration & General
- Prepare all the Offer letter, contract or employment for all hiring candidates.
- Ensure the pre-onboarding file is completed as per checklist.
- Manage the application of Work Permit and Occupation permit for expat employees.
- Manage any Task Force requests i.e Task Force agreement, visa, hotel booking, transfer, flight ticket, etc.
- Follow-up with local and expat hiring candidates for all relevant documents required including Air Ticket, hotel booking, airport transfer, etc.
- Follow-up Expat new joiners’ appointment with the Ministry of Health, medical examination, Ministry of Labour and EDB as and when required.
- Follow-up on the Talent management processes i.e Performance Reviews, Goal setting, Individual Development Plan, Annual Reviews and 9-Box.
- Conduct quarterly Talent Reviews and recruitment status meeting with respective department head.
- Prepare monthly reports and statistics.
- Perform any cognate duties as and when required.
Qualifications
Degree Holder
At least 4 years of Experience in Hospitality
