About The Role
As Head of Sales, you will be responsible for our global sales strategies and operations. Your main focus will be on excellent execution – ensuring that we provide our diverse customer base with a seamless and powerful sales experience. Beyond operational responsibilities, you will influence company strategy by bringing in market and customer feedback and working closely with Product, Growth, and Technology teams.
This is not your average sales role – we are looking for someone with Enterprise Sales experience who thrives in a dynamic environment, thinks both strategically and operationally, and leads by example. You will orchestrate the entire sales process, coach the team, and bring fresh perspectives to best serve our customers – from individual developers to large government organizations.
Your Responsibilities
Strategic
- Build and maintain relationships with resellers and integrators.
- Collaborate with other departments to analyze market signals and influence company decisions on pricing, positioning, and go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
- Use customer and market data to optimize GTM strategy, including resource allocation and geographic focus.
Tactical
- Lead and continuously improve the end-to-end sales process, including automation, material creation, and team development.
- Coordinate the entire sales experience in close collaboration with Growth, Product, and Tech teams.
- Lead the Customer Success team, identify upselling potential and additional use cases beyond contract renewals.
- Plan and allocate resources for upselling and renewal priorities based on data analysis.
- Measure and optimize sales processes daily based on customer and team feedback.
Operational
- Manage the entire sales pipeline, test and implement new sales tactics to drive growth.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders in customer organizations to deliver tailored enterprise solutions.
- Build deep product expertise to act as a trusted advisor for customers.
- Represent the company at industry events to build a network of partners and potential customers.
- Coach and mentor the team with hands-on support and weekly guidance.
Who We’Re Looking For
- 8+ years of sales experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role (ideally in SaaS or technology).
- Fluent in professional German (both written and spoken).
- Proven Enterprise Sales experience with a diverse customer base – from developers to government organizations.
- Successful track record in developing and implementing sales strategies and scaling sales operations.
- Experience leading Customer Success or Sales teams, focusing on upselling, customer retention, and excellent customer experience.
- Strong product knowledge and ability to represent the product confidently to customers.
- Ability to collaborate across departments to share valuable market insights.
- Proactive, data-driven decision-making and continuous optimization of sales performance.
Important note: we are looking to hire someone who will be located and registered in Switzerland. This means you are either already located in Switzerland or are willing to relocate to Switzerland. The company does not offer visa support for this particular position.
