This is a global role where you’ll use your local expertise and professional network to contribute to ustwo’s global success. While you’ll bring knowledge of your market and maintain strong client relationships, your impact won’t be limited to one geography. You’ll collaborate with peers across regions, hand off seamlessly when needed, and ensure clients experience ustwo as one connected global partner.

The Role

As a Client Partner at ustwo, you’ll be a trusted leader in nurturing and growing some of our most important client relationships. You’ll own the health and commercial success of your accounts, ensuring projects deliver excellent outcomes and open doors to longer-term partnerships.

This is a Principal-level role, combining hands-on client relationship management with strategic account planning. You’ll act as a connector between client ambitions and ustwo’s capabilities, balancing short-term responsiveness with long-term growth. You’ll work closely with peers across the Client Services team, shaping opportunities, stewarding commercial performance, and helping ustwo adapt in fast-moving, often ambiguous contexts.

Location

This is a hybrid role based out of our Brooklyn studio, with the expectation that you’ll spend 1–2 days per week working in person. We’re looking for local candidates who can work from our studio on Tuesdays at a minimum, and who are available to meet clients and collaborate in person when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow client relationships, ensuring engagements are built on trust, transparency, and measurable value.
  • Identify and shape opportunities to extend projects into sustained partnerships aligned with client needs and ustwo’s strengths.
  • Partner with relevant functions such as Delivery, Strategy, Technology, and Product leads to co-create proposals and roadmaps that are commercially viable and strategically impactful.
  • Manage account profitability, margin health, and forecasting to ensure work contributes meaningfully to studio and company goals.
  • Lead strategic account planning, mapping client priorities to ustwo’s offerings and ensuring strong account health.
  • Bring consultative partnership, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management expertise to client engagements and team collaboration.
  • Leverage experience in sectors such as, but not limited to, Healthcare, Finance, Energy, Education, or Media to shape relevant solutions and client strategies.
  • Drive engagement strategies that focus on measurable outcomes for end users and our clients’ businesses.
  • Contribute to ustwo’s marketing initiatives through thought leadership, client case studies, PR opportunities, or public speaking engagements.
  • Contribute to evolving ustwo’s ways of working, culture, and commercial approaches, particularly in emerging areas like AI.
  • Actively build and maintain a relevant professional network to stay close to market shifts and client needs.
  • Support business development by helping to identify, qualify, and nurture new opportunities globally.
  • Collaborate as part of a global Client Partner team, ensuring consistency of approach, smooth handovers, and best-practice sharing across regions.

About You

  • Tenured experience in client services, account management, lead generation, networking or digital consultancy, with a proven track record of growing high-value client relationships.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in account planning, margin management, and revenue forecasting.
  • Adept at shaping opportunities in ambiguous contexts, translating evolving client needs into meaningful work.
  • You have experience partnering with organizations that are shaping the future through technology, from startups to established digital product companies, and understand how to navigate fast-paced, innovation-driven environments.
  • Skilled communicator and negotiator, able to build credibility with senior stakeholders and guide complex conversations.
  • Experienced in mentoring and coaching peers, and passionate about creating a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
  • Experience using commercial performance tools such as CRC scores and Pipedrive, and contributing to revenue forecasting through data-informed planning.
  • Experience working within or alongside vertical industries such as Healthcare, Finance, Energy, Education, or Media.
  • Demonstrated contribution to company marketing efforts through authored content, case study development, event participation, or speaking engagements.
