About the role
You will own 50–100 named large enterprise accounts across the New York Metro area (primary: NY/NJ/CT). This is an account-based, enterprise sales role focused on net-new acquisition and expansion within complex organizations. You’ll run multi-threaded executive cycles with CIO/CISO, AppSec, Platform, Fraud, and Cloud leaders; orchestrate partners; and land multi-solution wins spanning discovery, posture governance, runtime protection, and AI Agent/MCP security.
- What you’ll do
- • Build and execute account plans for 50–100 named enterprises in NY/NJ/CT, prioritizing banking, financial services, media, pharma, retail, and tech.
- • Create pipeline through targeted prospecting, ABM plays, partner co-sell (AWS, CrowdStrike, etc), and executive networking.
- • Run full-cycle sales: discovery, value mapping, business case, security validation, legal/procurement, and close.
- • Position Salt’s portfolio (Cloud Connect, Surface, Posture Governance, Runtime Protection, and AI Agent/MCP Security) to displace incumbents and consolidate tools.
- • Lead cross-functional strategies with SEs, product, customer success, and solutions engineering to drive rapid time-to-value and expansion.
- • Forecast accurately in Salesforce; communicate risks, next steps, and executive asks with crisp deal hygiene.
- • Drive onsite workshops, POVs, and QBRs across New York City and broader tri-state; travel as needed within NY/NJ/CT.
- What you’ll need
- • Proven success selling enterprise cybersecurity/SaaS into Fortune/Global 2000 accounts in New York Metro.
- • Track record closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with 6- and 7-figure TCV.
- • Strong familiarity with cloud-native environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), API security, and adjacent platforms (WAF, CNAPP, EDR/XDR, SIEM).
- • Mastery of MEDDIC, SPICED, or similar methodology; exceptional discovery and business case development.
- • Executive presence and communication skills for C-level and board-facing interactions.
- • High ownership mindset: rigorous account planning, partner alignment, and disciplined deal execution.
