We Are Looking For A Senior Ai/Ml Technical Content Strategist Ii Who Is Passionate About Creating In-Depth, Highly Technical, And Wide Ranging Articles And Tutorials On The World Of Ai For Developers.

As a Senior AI/ML Technical Content Strategist II at DigitalOcean, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing cloud computing and AI. This role lives under the Developer Relations organization and will report directly to the Manager, Technical Writing. The ideal candidate will help guide our strategy for AI developer content and create written tutorials for a wide-ranging audience of developers. 

What You’Ll Do:

• Create articles and complex tutorials for developers pertaining to AI, its latest trends, and how they matter to developers. 
• Keep on top of the latest developments in AI and provide ideas for technical content around those developments.
• Create tutorials around DigitalOcean products and solutions and how developers can use them to solve for AI use cases.
• Work with other writers to provide a comprehensive and in-depth strategy that covers a wide range of topics for developers working in AI.
• Work with Developer Advocates, Solutions Engineers, and other teams to provide supporting content for any larger educational AI initiatives.

What You’Ll Add To Digitalocean:

• 8-12 years of experience in developer content, software development, developer relations, technical writing, or similar roles.
• Technical expertise:
• This role will be expected to be able to implement the largest and latest models and AI technology for demonstration purposes. The ideal candidate will be able to create their own sample apps/repos/etc and explain their methodology in their content. 
• Experience with docs as code:
• Fluency with version control (Git, GitHub), like branching, forking, and resolving merge conflicts.
• Fluency using PR-based workflows for writing collaboration and peer reviews.
• Familiarity with writing content in Markdown.
• Experience in technical learning and writing ability:
• Strong research skills and the ability to pick up new technical concepts in AI quickly, while being able to explain and demonstrate those concepts to a highly-technical audience. 
• A portfolio of published writing (personal or professional) for a technical audience, ideally on cloud computing or related concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally to gather technical information.
• Experience working remotely or collaborating from an office with remote teams.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management in order their drive their own content calendar, while remaining flexible to what may arise ad-hoc.

• We reward our employees. The salary range for this position is between $119,200.00 - $149,000.00 based on market data, relevant years of experience, and skills. You may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance. We also provide equity compensation to eligible employees, including equity grants upon hire and the option to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
