Senior Analyst

XLA is seeking a Senior Analyst with Army/DoD experience who holds a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.   

Senior Analysts provide expert-level analytic, programmatic, and advisory support across multiple functional areas for the DCS, G-8 FD and its various divisions. Each Senior Analyst is typically assigned to specific functional or analytical domains within the FD mission.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Serves as a lead subject matter expert in areas such as materiel and force integration, requirements development, acquisition program analysis, and resource allocation processes.
• Performs complex analytic functions including program evaluation, resource modeling, milestone tracking, portfolio analysis, and force structure assessments.
• Leads or participates in specialized teams providing technical insight and recommendations to senior Army leadership, including the preparation of high-level briefings, studies, and reports.
• Supports and executes analytic, modeling, and assessment activities related to strategic Army initiatives and decision-making processes.
• Recommends solutions to address force development, integration, resource, and capability gap challenges.
• Interfaces across directorates to ensure data accuracy and analytic consistency.
• Prepares, reviews, and submits required program documentation, recurring reports, and contract deliverables.
• May supervise or mentor junior analysts and non-key personnel.
• Monitors relevant databases, web-based applications, and Army systems for effective mission support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Business, Engineering, or closely related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Active security clearance appropriate to assignment (SECRET or TS/SCI).
• Demonstrated expertise (typically 7+ years) in Army program analysis, requirements development, force structure/resource management, or relevant analytic support.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills and ability to interface with senior-level DoD stakeholders.
