Job Summary
This position works with guidance from the plant management team to prepare and justify the need for plant projects. This includes, but is not limited to, developing budgets, project timelines, financial paybacks, and justifications with supporting documentation. A plant Engineer will also be responsible for preparing and presenting reports regarding to project budgets and justifications. Occasional problem-solving efforts and leading projects through the execution process are also a part of this role. The position will maintain effective working relationships with others.Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
•Performs assigned task with guidance from management•Assemble and collate issue specific information to support studies, budgets, and project justifications•Assist in organization and occasionally lead assigned projects•Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment•Prepare and present routine reports •Participate in special projects, committee assignments and routine problem - solving efforts as requestedEducation, Experience, And Skill Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Nuclear) from an accredited program.•Minimum 2 yrs. related job experienceKey Metrics:
•Teamwork and collaboration skills within the team/department•Effective written and verbal communication skills.•Maintain effective working relationships within the team/department•Basic understanding of power generation operations.•Basic understanding of economic drivers to the business.•Apply basic problem-solving techniques to address routine issuesJob Family
