Raytheon is currently seeking a Principal Field Engineer, to provide technical Operational Support at OCONUS (Outside Continental Unites States) and CONUS (Continental United States) locations for a supported Classified Customer.

What You Will Do:

  • Support a classified customer in both CONUS and OCONUS operations with >50% travel
  • Work as day-to-day team member, as well as forward-facing point of contact for customer interface, technical guidance, and direction.
  • Conduct advanced electronic repairs, on various leading edge optical systems.
  • Act as on-site liaison and subject matter expert for system operators.
  • Be the face of both the program and company, relied heavily upon for operational support and decisions in a real-world capacity.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain special program access after start.
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting & repairing of aircraft and avionics UAS/UAV/MQ-9 Reaper.
  • Experience Supporting Classified Customer Operations.
  • Experience in Unmanned Systems Ground Control Station (GCS) Maintenance and Operation.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Advanced electronic, troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair.
  • Proven ability to guide, and advise customer, in forward deployed environment, as technical representative and subject matter expert.
  • 9+ years of MQ-9 Reaper aircraft and avionics experience.
  • 9+ years’ experience in Unmanned Systems Ground Control Station (GCS) Maintenance and Operation.
  • Multi Spectral Targeting System installation, employment, and operation.
  • OCONUS Forward Deployment experience.
  • Airframe and Powerplant Certification (A&P).

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
