Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus areas include but not limited to reliability, sustainment, logistics engineering, field/operations support, safety, human systems engineering, training, technical manuals, and product support.

What You Will Do
Assigned to one or more programs, the LCE Cross Product Team (CPT) Lead is responsible for providing innovative and trusted solutions that optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the products and services over their life cycle. This is accomplished through the leveraging of existing, as well as new, capabilities being developed within LCE and collaboration with the various Systems, SW, and HW design organizations, the sibling LCE CPTs, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Chief Engineers as well as Program Directors and Program Managers. The LCE CPT could execute across multiple Radar contracts
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing functional leadership of LCE CPT for assigned program(s)
- Driving flawless technical, schedule, and cost performance of LCE products and services that leverages best practices, process optimization, state of the art tools and techniques and people skills by establishing key process and product metrics and driving continuous improvement
- Providing LCE inputs to proposals, supporting customer proposal negotiations, executing program start-up to include program Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule and performance baseline development
- Supporting the Missile Defense Program Director and Program Managers to achieve staffing demands, identify and develop key personnel, and build long-term plans that support LCE and business models
- Supporting the LCE Director and Engineering VP via compliance to internal policies and procedures to include development of program tracking books, Estimate at Completions (EACs), and compliance with the Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Domestic or International Travel may be required
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires: A Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Program or Project Management or Sustainment, System Fielding, Logistics or Engineering. An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position
- Experience with budget or financial management including Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar tools
- Experience with proposal or capture efforts
- Experience with risk/opportunity management tools and processes
- Leadership experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Demonstrated proficiency with application and execution of Raytheon’s Integrated Product Development System (IPDS), RTX Life Cycle Program Management (RLPM) or similar business processes
- Demonstrated consistency, accountability and flexibility managing multiple and competing priorities
- Demonstrated track record of developing customer relationships to meet contractual requirements and capture the full potential of follow-on business
- Demonstrated experience in strategic development and / or contract capture in the Defense Industry
- Program management certification
- Demonstrated comprehensive planning skills with the ability to analyze technical and financial data and reports
- Experience with Department of Defense Radar Sustainment Programs
- Demonstrated ability to interact with senior levels of leadership effectively – including customer, Raytheon, teammates, and suppliers

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
