Job Description

The Jr. Product Manufacturing Engineer is an entry-level engineering role focused on supporting the development, improvement, and execution of manufacturing processes for aerospace components. This position plays a key role in ensuring that production runs safely, efficiently, and in compliance with internal and external quality standards. 

Working under moderate supervision, the Jr. Product Manufacturing Engineer contributes to cross-functional initiatives involving process documentation, production troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on role with strong growth potential in a highly regulated, high-performance manufacturing environment. 

What You Will Do:

  • Supports daily production activities by addressing process issues and assisting with technical solutions. 
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of standard work instructions, work orders, and visual aids. 
  • Contributes to production planning, efficiency initiatives, and compliance with quality system requirements. 
  • Apply basic engineering knowledge to support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. 
  • Participate in equipment readiness efforts, process trials, and work area optimization. 
  • Helps ensure that safety, ergonomics, and lean principles are incorporated into manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel at a basic to intermediate level (data entry, creation of tables, Pareto analysis, chart generation, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings, process documentation, and problem-solving methodologies such as 8Ds, Six Sigma, and Ishikawa.
  • Detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive in supporting manufacturing operations and learning new skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CAD, SAP, or MES systems.
