The Job
We’re seeking a driven and strategic Lead Development Representative (LDR) to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our go-to-market strategy, you’ll be responsible for qualifying inbound leads and executing outbound prospecting initiatives to generate high-quality opportunities.
This role requires a proactive communicator who can plan and engage effectively with target personas across key industries, collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and sales, and contribute to building a robust pipeline that drives revenue growth. Enablement will be provided to build foundational solution knowledge, articulate industry-specific value propositions, and understand the go-to-market strategy.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Inbound Lead Qualification
- Assess and respond to inbound leads to determine fit and sales readiness. Conduct initial discovery using qualification frameworks to understand customer needs and buying intent
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads
- Maintain accurate lead data in CRM and enrich profiles with relevant insights
- Support continuous improvement by tracking outcomes and sharing feedback with Marketing
🔹 Outbound Prospecting
- Collaborate with Sales to plan and build targeted lists. Identify and research target accounts and key decision-makers. Craft personalized outreach by account and persona to generate interest and secure meetings through emails, calls, and social platforms.
- Follow a qualification framework to identify business needs, budget, and buying intent. Ensure a smooth handover to Sales.
- Maintain detailed records of outreach activities and prospect interactions in CRM
- Continuously test and refine messaging to improve engagement and conversion.
🔹 Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Within your assigned market you will work closely with local Marketing, Sales, Technical Sales, and other key stakeholders to generate and progress Opportunities in alignment with their defined Market priorities
- Support Marketing activities, such as campaigns, events, and webinars where appropriate. Align closely with Marketing to synchronize campaigns and share feedback on lead quality.
- Partner with Sales to handover Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and support follow-up.
- Provide market and persona insights to enhance targeting and positioning.
- Occasional travel to engage with Sales and Marketing in the field may be required
🔹 Pipeline Management
- Track lead activity, monitor pipeline progression, and maintain data hygiene on CRM.
- Ensure a steady flow of high-quality leads that convert into revenue.
- Report regularly on KPIs and conversion metrics to leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 3 years in Lead Development, Sales Development, or Business Development. Experience in SaaS or B2B sales environments.
- Self-motivated, growth-oriented, and results-driven --- someone who thrives on identifying new opportunities, initiating conversations, and driving pipeline growth
- Proven success in both inbound qualification and outbound prospecting (phone and email).
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior and technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Background in technology or industrial sector is an advantage.
