Hourly Rate:

AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Nous recherchons une personne pour appuyer un projet portant sur les relations entre les communautés rurales et agricoles et les projets miniers proposés dans le secteur nord de la région de l’Outaouais, au Québec. La personne idéale aura une expérience académique ou de recherche en études rurales, en politiques environnementales ou en extraction des ressources.

ResponsabilitéS Principales :

• Analyser la législation provinciale québécoise sur les mines et la protection des terres agricoles.
• Lire et résumer des documents gouvernementaux en français.
• Collaborer avec les gouvernements municipaux par l’analyse de politiques et des entrevues.
• Mener des entrevues avec des membres de la communauté impliqués dans la résistance aux projets miniers (Phase II).

La maîtrise du français est essentielle, notamment pour le travail avec les documents gouvernementaux et municipaux. Une expérience en méthodes de recherche qualitative et en engagement communautaire est fortement souhaitée.

Exigences

• Inscription à un programme de doctorat (PhD en cours)
• Diplôme de maîtrise dans une discipline des sciences sociales
• Expérience en collecte de données dans le cadre de projets de recherche
• Connaissance de l’analyse des politiques et de la législation gouvernementales
• Expérience dans la réalisation d’entrevues de recherche qualitative
