Develop and implementation of financial, accounting and tax systems delivering best-in-class capabilities that deliver innovative solutions for all global finance functions whilst optimizing daily and tactical finance operations.
Job Environment
The role is part of Global Technology Solutions (GTS) organization that delivers on the vision for Resmed’s financial systems. The role serves as the strategic business linkage between finance functions and GTS at a Product Owner and business unit level. It provides highly-valued consulting level support and guidance through key GTS initiatives, supporting the business in adoption of best practice using best-in-class solutions.
Finance application delivery is managed as products in an Agile environment in GTS organization. This role is within the relevant Finance Squad that has specific responsibility for building, configuring, maintaining and enhancing finance products through their life cycle, as well as providing day to day support to users of these applications.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle EPM Consultant to support the implementation, automation, and operational management of Oracle EPM Cloud solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud, strong DevOps capabilities, and a solid understanding of enterprise systems including Snowflake, Oracle Fusion, and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). You will play a key role in delivering high-quality EPM solutions and ensuring their ongoing performance and reliability.
Let’s talk about Responsibilities
- Lead and support the implementation of Oracle EPM Cloud modules including:
- Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS)
- Profitability and Cost Management (PCM)
- Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC)
- Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS)
- Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS)
- Oracle EPM Automate scripting and scheduling
- Conduct workshops, gather business requirements, and configure EPM applications to meet client needs.
Narrative Reporting
- Stay up to date on upcoming monthly features and identify opportunities within existing EPM landscape and beyond.
- Develop and optimize business rules using Groovy scripting and automate tasks using EPM Automate. Creating integrations using Oracle EPM Pipelines.
- Integrate EPM systems with ERP, data warehouses, and external platforms using REST APIs and data management tools.
- Monitor and manage day-to-day operations of Oracle EPM environments to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
- Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and resolution of production issues.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams for environment refreshes, patching, and upgrades.
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with IT controls, security policies, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with teams working on Snowflake, Oracle Fusion ERP, and Oracle EBS to ensure seamless data integration and reporting.
- Leverage knowledge of financial and operational data models across platforms to enhance reporting and analytics.
- Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
- Serve as the primary liaison between finance stakeholders and technical teams.
- Translate financial business requirements into EPM solution designs and configurations.
- Facilitate regular communication with finance leadership to align on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes and reporting through EPM capabilities.
- Support change management and user adoption within finance teams.
