The Ideal Candidate Would Be Confident In Rooming Patients, Assisting In Surgery, Surgery Recovery, Placing Iv Catheters, Drawing Blood And Running Bloodwork, Have Knowledge Of X-Ray And Positioning, Experience With Proper Animal Handling And Restraint, Able To Use In-House Laboratory Equipment, Understanding The Importance Of Client Education, And Is A Positive And Supportive Team Player. If You Are An Experienced Veterinary Technician Ready To Take Your Skills To The Next Level And Work With A Great Team Then Hamilton Animal Hospital Is Ready To Hear From You.

Requirements

• 1+ years of veterinary technician experience
• Knowledge of vaccines and proper administration
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Experience dispensing and administering medications
• Able to obtain a complete patient history and maintain treatment records
• Pharmacology calculations and surgical experience (prep, monitoring, recovery, etc.)
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Positive team-player willing to continue to learn
