Junior Application Engineer Valves

Job Summary

We are looking for a technically and commercial and enthusiastic colleague for our sales department for the position of Junior Application Engineer Valves for our (FCD) Flow Control Department.

As a Junior Application Engineer Valves you will have an excellent work relationship with your Sales Engineers. Together you create technically and commercially sound offers, and soon you will become well-equipped with any technical or commercial follow-up questions that a customer or colleague might have. Your Role

• You are the first point of contact for your clients, and your services-oriented mindset is making it easy for our customers to do business with Flowserve.
• You will become specialized in offering spare parts, service, and modifications of control valves and isolation valves. We will train you to be the preferred partner for service and repair work.
• You will grow business, raise customer satisfaction, and improve quote-to-order ratio
• This role requires technical high accuracy and the urge to move fast and get results.
• You leverage your individual competencies in each specific situation to produce a steady volume of commercially sound offers and quotations.

Your Profile

• Technical education, MBO or HBO Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• Track record in inside sales, with 2 years of experience
• You have a strong command of the Dutch AND English language in verbal and in writing
• You are technically educated with a natural feel for presentation, negotiation, and commercial opportunities.
