Role Purpose

Reporting to People Services Manager LATAM, the Payroll Analyst is responsible for managing and processing payroll and benefits, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for employees while complying with legal regulations.

We are looking for a very organized professional, people and process oriented, capable to quickly adapt yourself and establish connections with stakeholders.

Main Accountabilities

  • Payroll and Benefits processing: oversee the payroll and benefits process, ensuring all employee compensation is calculated accurately and paid on time.
  • Guarantee compliance of the Payroll and Benefits processes in LATAM countries.
  • Assist the areas in terms of benefits and payroll policies and processes of Mexico, Colombia and Costa Rica.
  • Work with the stakeholders to ensure alignment of activities and priorities.
  • Suggest continuous improvement in payroll and benefits processes.
  • Stay updated with payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements to ensure data accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
  • Contact the suppliers for problem solving and new initiatives aimed at full business continuity.
  • Data Management: Collect and verify employee information, including relevant documents for payroll/benefits processing (Workday and Payroll/Benefits Suppliers).
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain payroll reports for management and regulatory purposes and assist in audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Issue Resolution: Address payroll/benefits-related inquiries from managers/employees and resolve discrepancies records.
  • System Maintenance: Manage payroll and benefits systems, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency in payroll operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.

Experience

Proven experience in payroll management and benefits administration.

Skills / Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of payroll.
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and systems: SAP and Workday.
  • Strong knowledge in Excel.
  • Idioms: Spanish fluent and English intermediate. Portuguese is a plus.
