Math Tutor

 Qualifications:  

• Passion for math and helping others
• Ability to work on a team
• Eagerness to learn
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks
• Available a minimum of 8 hours per week
• 16 years or older (15 years allowed with work permit)
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks
• Availability year round, specifically looking for applicants available Monday-Thursday 3:30-5:30pm and Sunday 1-4pm

All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

• Teach/tutor in-center using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices as learned during training
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ understanding and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with various daily processes

If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium. Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
