Position Overview

The Senior Manager, Financial Reporting, will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering timely and accurate statutory financial reporting for Vantage’s EMEA region. Reporting directly to the Director of Financial Reporting, this individual will oversee complex multi-currency consolidations across multiple entities, ensure compliance with relevant accounting frameworks, M&A activity, and strategic transactions.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a strong technical background, gained through Big Four training and enhanced by industry experience, preferably in real estate, infrastructure, or private equity–backed environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements for the EMEA region in accordance with IFRS, ensuring high-quality and timely reporting.
• Prepare and review standalone financial statements, prepared in accordance with IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes, including oversight of multi-currency consolidations across complex entity structures.
• Support the Financial Reporting team with investor reporting, share redemptions, distributions and cap table management.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions including M&A, reorganizations, and financing activities.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders to ensure successful statutory audits and compliance with local reporting requirements.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and contribute to ongoing process and reporting improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), Big 4 experience a bonus
• Extensive post-qualification experience in financial reporting roles within complex, multicurrency organizations.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS; knowledge of UK GAAP and Lux GAAP is highly desirable.
• Exposure to M&A transactions and related accounting/reporting considerations; private equity or real estate industry experience a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse stakeholders.
• Innovative, proactive mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo and implement best-in-class solutions.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
