Summary Of The Job:

This role manages Marketing Technology operations, systems, and projects across the entire life cycle from exploration to deployment and ongoing management. With a strong foundation in marketing operations, you will translate business objectives into practical technology solutions while maintaining unwavering focus on customer experience excellence.

You will develop and execute the MarTech roadmap for digital marketing, overseeing a comprehensive technology stack including the Zeta Marketing Platform, Adobe Experience Platform, and various content creation tools. This position requires deep expertise in email marketing channels, marketing automation strategies, and data-driven campaign orchestration to deliver personalized customer experiences at scale.

Supporting a team of marketing technology specialists, you'll serve as the operational bridge between marketing objectives and technical implementation, ensuring efficient processes and seamless integration across platforms and departments. Success in this role requires balancing operational excellence with technical understanding, while maintaining strong vendor relationships and people leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional ability to optimize marketing operations, build collaborative relationships across business units, lead process improvements, and consistently deliver measurable business results through operational efficiency and data-driven decision making.

About This Role:

  • Oversee our Marketing technology stack and the related workflows and processes, ensuring our existing processes are well-supported and that we are building for the future.  Technology areas include:
  • Content creation and localization tools: such as Adobe AEM, Creative Cloud, Target
  • Social & Media content as well as CX Playback monitoring tools (Medallia DXA, etc.)
  • Campaign Management and execution tools (Zeta Marketing Platform, Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Launch, Bitly)
  • Marketing automation platforms used for campaign orchestration, audience segmentation, and personalized customer journeys (Zeta Marketing Platform)
  • Work with our Data team to build and maintain our digital analytics (Adobe Analytics)
  • Responsible for daily maintenance and set up of segment logic, defining offline to online capabilities with segments, and integration with other MarTech data stacks
  • With marketing leadership, assist in defining the longer-term vision, architecture, and related design principles for MarTech
  • Effectively partner across all Marketing and UI/UX teams to understand the unique business and product needs of each business unit and ensure the technical strategy meets those requirements.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Act as a liaison into IT team on larger digital marketing/integration projects
  • Coordinate data collected through digital marketing and transfers to/from Enterprise Data Warehouse
  • Facilitate digital marketing tagging and set up via tag management system
  • Responsible for execution of email marketing channel, as well as strategy with marketing leadership
  • Oversight of cardholder alerts delivered via third party email/text partners
  • Manage initiatives for cross platforms production to ensure consistency and connectivity with internal and external stakeholders and project managers
  • Retargeting logic set up and maintenance across media partners and integration into FNBO systems
  • Vet new technology solutions

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Key Skills:

  • Strong technical mindset: ability to carry technical conversations with our data science and IT engineering teams
  • Strong knowledge of all phases of creative development and content production practices to guide successful outcomes
  • Experience effectively managing relationships with external technology vendors to define strategic priorities and ensure best customer support
  • Experience with Adobe or Google platforms, tagging and measurement platforms, testing new targeting tools, website structure/tagging, clean rooms, and more. This person will function as an expert on targeting and measurement methodology and platforms for the internal media team as well as liaison with technology and other internal teams on larger technology solutions and APIs.
  • Strong management practices

Minimum Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a relevant business area such as Marketing preferred; advanced degree in Business or engineering encouraged
  • 5+ years of IT experience is required
  • Previous experience with Marketing Technologies
  • 3+ years experience acting as a manager, or equivalent (responsibility greater than individual performer is required)
  • Experience sourcing, adopting, and scaling marketing technologies to support operations
  • Exposure to/experience with programmatic marketing systems (DSP, DMP, ad serving, Social Ads API Platforms, etc.)
  • Agency and outside technology vendor management
  • Travel as required

Desired:

  • Adobe Certifications
  • Experience with the Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP) or similar enterprise marketing automation solutions
  • Experience in financial services or related regulated industries
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $89,893.00-$152,818.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Work Environment:

It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are. Please note that work location is subject to change based on business needs.
