What will your responsibilities be?

  • Leadership of Talent Acquisition team in EMEA (2 direct reports) with reporting line into HR Director EMEA
  • Team responsibility for recruitment of highly complex, unique and dissimilar positions at different leadership levels across several functions and business groups, such as Engineering, Purchasing, Finance, Sales, Program Management and Quality
  • Developing, implementing and executing talent acquisition strategy for EMEA in close collaboration with HR functions in individual locations as well as EMEA HR Business Partners and other HR CoE functions
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance recruitment processes by leveraging innovative tools and technologies to streamline operations
  • Driving employer branding initiatives as well as working together with HRBPs and local HR to improve internal talent retention, attraction and development
  • Market analysis together with internal stakeholders such as hiring managers and HR leadership to identify talent and skill gaps in key Adient markets to drive strategic decision making
  • Management of EMEA preferred supply list of external recruitment vendors in conjunction with Purchasing department
  • Tracking of team KPIs as well as conducting reporting to measure team’s performance
  • Calibrate and manage team workload
  • Coach and mentor team members to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Deliver end-to-end expert recruitment services to hiring departments and take responsibility for all aspects of operational recruiting, in particular promoting inclusive recruiting practices and bias mitigation strategies to support workplace diversity


Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or equivalent through experience
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in corporate and/or search firm recruiting including team leadership experience 
  • High technological aptitude in managing direct sourcing tools and ATS systems; Workday knowledge preferred
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Knowledge of regional recruiting & staffing laws
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and intercultural competence with a proven track record to influence at all levels of the business both internally and externally
  • Fluent English language skills; other languages advantageous
